While harsh and abrupt, it is very thought provoking...I noticed most of the bad reviews come from 1) White people, who have a difficulty seeing the black reality put into perspective, or 2) Black people who spend the majority of their time trying to please or conform to "White" society, 3) Other races who only see "Black" people in the perspective of what they have been shown in the media and steeped in racial stereotypes. Instead of trying to deflect, just acknowledge that the history of racism towards black persons in this country is not going to get any better until white Americans acknowledge that they have continued to benefit from the sins of their fathers, and make a concerted effort to stop perpetrating the same violence, and hatred that is continuing to oppress and murder the George Floyd(s) of this society, and others today.
