I don't know why are there no reviews for this movie. Tanisha acted really well given the fact that it was her launchpad movie. Zillion times better than today's nepokids' acting level. In fact, she acted too extraaa in Neal N Nikki. But was good in this one. Karan Nath, Dino Morea, Kushal Punjabi, Gaurav Kapur, Alyy, Shivaji Satam - all of them did their part well. Music by Anu Malik is great. Locations are also nice. Best song imo is Ishq Da Maara Hai by Sunidhi Chauhan and Sukhwinder Singh - the then RJs used to play this song on the radio all the time when the movie had released. It doesn't exactly fall under horror category. It's rightly written in its Wikipedia page that it's a slasher movie. Slasher genre falls under horror category, but this movie is not exactly horror, actually there's nothing 'horror' about it, just maybe a psychological thriller, with a few jumpscares. The climax is good, and unexpected. One time watch toh definitely hai 👍🏻

Brilliant movie with a deep message, a good storyline and fine acting by all the actors. Reminds of the movie Swades at some places. Its rating should easily be 7-8 out of 10 on IMDb.

Haunting background score. Great storyline. Convincing performances. The locations perfectly and aptly justify the title. The jungle has been beautifully captured. Cinematography is awesome. Sonu Nigam and Sunidhi Chauhan songs are cherry on the top. The fear is real - it's an absolute thriller. Must watch. Urmila's acting in the tiger scene and the scene where she's crying while telling Fardeen that she can't believe he is there with her is to watch out for. Brilliant actor, Urmila. What do I say about the dacoit gang actors!? They're beyond brilliant. I mean we have Makrand Deshpande, Vijay Raaz, Rajpal Yadav, Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Sushant Singh - goodness!! Each of em is beyond perfect and convincing. Esp Makrand sir and Vijay Raaz sir. Vijay sir's intro scene is where you won't easily recognise him. His enactment is soooo real. There are a few raw violent scenes as well that can make you feel terrorised, nauseated and sick to your stomach. The direction is great. They don't make such actors, directors or movies anymore!

3.5 stars. Quite a decent movie, a one-time watch. Good acting by one and all. Great music. Good work by the costume designer(s). Relatable stories. And the best part being the narration by the oh-so-charming Shah Rukh Khan.

Okay-ish movie. 80% of the screen time has Salman and Rishi Kapoor. Amisha Patel is wasted in this movie. There could've been a better plotline for her. She appears only in songs and 3-4 scenes here and there. Supporting cast are good. Anupam Kher, Jaspal Bhatti did a decent job. One time watch.

Nice action-suspense thriller. Neil is definitely underrated. He's one of the 'actually good' nepokids. Bipasha was superb as well in the movie. Mukul Dev as a villain was pretty convincing. Don't know why this movie is less talked about and why there are zero reviews here until now. Loved the action, chase sequences, direction, story, concept and dialogues. The songs were top notch. Main hero was perhaps the story & concept of this movie, for me. Fun watch and a one-time watch (at least).

No option for 3.5, so I'm givin' it 3 stars. No doubt the movie was entertaining, still it was just okay-ish and a one-time watch. It had a good balance of comedy and drama. Besides the performances by the main cast, the supporting ones were equally good, or even better. I liked the performances by Ali Fazal and Momal Sheikh the most. Their roles had layers. Piyush Mishra, Abhay Deol and Jimmy Sheirgill were good and their comic timing was on point. Diana Penty, despite being the titular protagonist, has less screen time. And she seemed replaceable. Anybody could've done her role. Like you could imagine just about anybody doing her role. Kriti Sanon, Kriti Kharbanda, Pooja Hegde, Parineeti Chopra, Anushka Sharma, etc, etc. Entertaining, one time watch.

Boring, unbearable and unconvincing. The movie doesn't seem to take off at all. Such a passive storytelling. The main lead couple can't act to save their lives, especially the lead actress. The only saving graces are Brittany Bristow, India Fowler and Geraldine Fitzgerald.

An underrated gem. Each character's performance and their roles are too good, excellent. The story graph is well-written. The closure, the lesson it teaches us - are a unique blend of emotions, happiness, reality, hope and love.
