Instantly turned off at the first page when he talks of all the values a man can have to see himself as a success or failure, the the only value a woman is judged by is wether or not she is married and happy in that marriage.
I’m not normally worried by male/female comparisons (we are very different after all!) but this really stuck out to me. In a world where the pressure on girls to be valued by appearances or her marital status alone is extraordinarily high, this is not the message I want my girls to be receiving.
