This Movie expresses what it felt like to be alone in those wars, just how small you are compared to whole war. You're just another insect waiting to be stomped on. I also want to say that many people might have thought that Tom Blakes death was... I guess not likable, but in my opinion I think it shows the unpredictability of war and that you never know what you're about to face.
