There has been so much discussion about this book and so many people love it. But I was expecting so much more. I can't help feeling a little disappointed.

I watch a lot of horror and love scary movies so I'm quite hard to scare....but I watched 70% of this movie through my hands 😅 so dark, so creepy and perfectly set up. Absolutely brilliant 👏 just shows you don't need a huge budget to make a great horror film.

Really loved this film. A cracking cast and a multi generational story line that cleverly intertwines. It can be harrowing at times but the violence is a way of progressing the narrative. It's not all violent though and there are some really tender moments. The main thing for me though was the exceptional acting. Stan Sebastian and Tom Holland are amazing and Jason Clarke is dangerously good. I can't recommend this film highly enough.
