As a born-again, Bible believing Christian and Science Fiction fan, I've always liked this film. I grew up watching it on television. Granted, our Heavenly Father doesn't reign on the planet Mars. He reigns in Heaven, which is beyond our time/space continuum. However, I love the message of hope, as well as the world wide Holy Spirit revival and restoration at the end of the movie. And I believe this is going to happen for real one day soon. It will happen when the Lord Jesus returns to set up His Kingdom here on Earth. Amen!
