The American version is NOTHING compared to the British version now on its 4th Season. Which is saying alot because i never care for British shows over American. But the cast is so much better and the show is just so much funnier in its original form. I couldnt get passed the 2nd episode and didn't laugh once. This US cast isn't believable or likable. The performances are better and the actors playing the characters are lovable, and funnier in the BBC version. Do yourself a favor right now and watch the Original and BETTER version now on HBO. Then you'll see just how bad this US ripoff is.

First off I think this Franchise needs a huge overhaul. SDS as a developer needs to go. Sony needs to bring in fresh minds with fresh ideas. This game, including most of their content, has been the same for nearly a decade with minor changes to aesthetics and some gameplay. For the most part its the carbon copy of the previous year. In game Commentary is the same every year and not to mention redundant and annoying. Same glitches occur every year. Same umpire and stadium sounds. Even the same classic stadiums. I found this year's game to be one of the worst I have ever played with this Franchise when it comes to two things; 1) the servers were dreadful this year. The game was nearly unplayable opening week and it kept going throughout the year. 2) the gameplay. I dont know what they changed this year but i miss my location on over 80% of my pitches (i use meter too) and hitting timing is off as well. Im either early or late. Also, and hers the kicker, Perfect swing timing means nothing in this game. If I had a dollar for every perfect swing 100+ mph exit velo that was a groundout Id be able to buy Sony. Plus how does a perfectly timed swing become a foul ball? It did for me a few times this year. I highly doubt I will return for next years game unless major changes are made or we get a new developer thats committed to making the best possible baseball game and not just copy and paste every year cos theres no other competition.

I got this game a few days ago with a gift card I got for Xmas. The last few versions of Madden I got on the PS4 platform. First off the gameplay on the Xbox isn’t very responsive. Gameplay lags as do the controls as I was playing offline franchise mode. Deep passes to receivers I’m controlling and the receiver runs in the opposite direction and I can’t move him. Don’t get me started on the dropped passes and constant facemask penalties with every tackle. I had to turn them off completely in the sliders. The broadcast audio had to be muted for repeated dialog that at points made no sense. NFC Championship game in Minnesota and the commentators were saying how it’s still summer. Between the horrid gameplay and broadcast dialog, I had made it to the Super Bowl in my 2nd season of franchise. Right after the NFC championship ended, the game froze and I waited a while before I gave up and exited the game. Now I can’t start up Madden 20 at all. It literally won’t load up at all to play ANY options of the game. I’m so pissed and I’ve even uninstalled and restarted my system. What a waste. These games are seriously going downhill.
