This movie was so disappointing. Denzel shouldn’t have been cast in the role he had, was Idris Elba busy. Even his overflowing costume designs made it hard to take him seriously. His accent further established that he did not have the range for this role. The rest of the movie lacked the excitement of the original gladiator and it just didn’t come together. I fell asleep for 20 minutes so maybe that was the good part of the movie. Save your money wait for it on Netflix
