Ladies, I am a retired teacher of nearly 30 yrs, and I disagree with you. How is that school district to make up the current $20,000 school lunch loss???? Next, this district will be listing a fiscal shortfall which will be blamed on poor administration. Like you, I would like to see kids fed without shaming, but it isn't possible until we figure out how to pay for it. Many teachers like me, are already buying our own supplies. We would never be able to pay for lunches for our students, so what is your plan. How do you plan to pay for all the freebies you all liked?
