Wooden acting, poor dialogue, unbelievable scenarios.
That's before you even get to the point that this film is nothing like the book. I get it, films need to stray a little from the book to keep you excited, interested, and keep within a watchable time frame.
But there's nothing about missiles in the book, or any indication that salanders father sexually abused her or her sister. I could list all the differences, but that would take longer than watching the film would.
