So so so disappointed! From the very first scene they derailed the entire story. Making friends of characters that hated each other and throwing information at you and timelines out the window. If you watch the show first, then enjoy it for what it is. A fantasy story of interest. But then PLEASE read the books and discover all the wonder, depth and magic that Deborah Harkness creates as she writes a brilliantly told story of magic, time, discovery and humanity. If you have already read the books than like me, a HUGE fan of the books, you might find yourself yelling at the TV from the very opening of this show.
