Honestly I do not particularly enjoy giving negative reviews but this show deserves attention. There is absolutely nothing new or creative at all, in fact the plot is the usual "default plot" used by makers when they have nothing on the mind. Apart from the plot, the music, characters and the dialogues, all seem like a work of haste.
The major problem I have is the glorification of the lead character, Falguni, who is actually naive and immature. She is willing to get her pregnant sister married in the house of an overly egoistic, evil and narcissistic woman who can go to any length to stand by her ego (even if that means killing someone). Falguni the lead character is so overly affected by societal norms that she'll go to any length to get her sister married (even if that means that she herself will have to marry a person she has never met). These characters might on the surface look "inspiring" but deep down are flawed and irrational.
What I find disturbing is that in the time when we as a society are evolving, we find characters like Falguni who're immature, extremely vulnerable and highly inauthentic, who act like the "tyaag-devi" thinking that they're doing "good" when in reality are only causing more trouble to everyone else (in the story and also in reality). The problem is that these characters are appreciated and celebrated.
Playing the role of a "nice woman" is glorified in this industry, well time to think deep enough. Because these are the characters people eventually look up to but "niceness" and gullibility never do any good in reality.
