The Author Ian Ballentyne makes no mention of the rookie pilot John Moffat who wrote a book titled "I sank the Bismarck" falsely claiming he fired the fatal shot. Moffat fired at Bismarck's port side as Keane's wingman and his observer Goddard confirmed this. Keane in his own words witnessed the explosion in her starboard steering compartment jamming the starboard rudder against her midship propeller. ONLY 2 pilots successfully attacked her starboard side - Godfrey-Fawsett and Ken Pattisson. Either pilot could have fired the lucky well aimed shot. Further proof can be seen on You Tube - Expedition Bismarck" filmed by James Cameron in 2002 when he dived in a Russian submersible using robotic cameras to discover the damage caused by the torpedo. Fortunately the camera cant lie!
