I'm writing this fresh off watching the final episode, and i love this series..it isn't easy to make a simple plot intriguing, but somehow this show and the actors, manage to do just that and more. Mare of Easttown is a crime drama which touches on so many problems that plague society; suicide, drug abuse, extramarital affairs, teen pregnancy etc. and it makes you take a minute to ponder..about life, and bringing life into this complicated world. I grew up on the notion that "Adults are always right", and that as a kid, we should know better than to argue with them. But the irony is and as shown in this series, often times, adults consciously make mistakes that can be avoided, sometimes with dire consequences, which is ( sadly ) perfectly executed in the series finale. ( SPOILER AHEAD ) A young, hardworking, good boy, causing a fatal accident because of his father's infidelity.
