The game looks amazing and functions well but the story goes in a direction that I do not understand at all. Ellie becomes a somewhat unlikeable character, which is not something you want from your protagonist, and there is little logic and reasoning behind her actions throughout the story. Most of the time its all very reactive behaviour with no deeper thinking from Ellie. Character development and change is expected in every story but it should make sense...I didn't get that from Ellie's character progression. Abby has her moments but the progression of the story left me completely uninterested in her at the beginning. That didn't improve much until the VERY end (somewhat). This game was just a big miss and the ending was also cliché with the "tragic hero" losing everything for revenge thing. Overall, I expected much better quality from the writers with far less of a disconnect between them and their community.
