Feel asleep in the beginning. They spent most of the time trying to promote her as a superhero by doing all these slowmo shots. It really felt like a try hard woke attempt to get the viewer to except a woman superhero. And it wasn’t necessary. Some good acting but an awfully long poor movie. Anyone gave this movie 5 stars is misleading you. Check out rotten tomatoes for none bias review please. It’s a couple of hours you’ll never get back.

This was a marvellous movie. I see the movie has received a lot of poor reviews because of offence to the content rather than for the quality of the movie. It depicts the true brutality endure by the Irish people at the hands of the British Empire. It is a shame that for most in Britain a fiction movie will be closer to reality then the history taught in their schools. This is a wonderfully crafted movie that reflected brilliantly the hardships of the time. A must watch.
