Just read Sarah Linden below - She’s nailed it. I’d only add that the best performances are the lawyer and the boy playing their son, which sums it up really. Mystifying. (In hindsight it's actually even worse: supposedly smart, professional people behaving astonishingly stupidly, presumably to create "drama". But apparently I'm in a minority so what do I know).
