Eastenders is becoming unwatchable in my opinion. It used to be a soap with no political messages. Now it’s all about lecturing us on homophobia/Islamophobia. Makes me thinks the writers believe the population of the U.K. are racists/homophobic hate filled individuals. On a separate note, I can’t quite comprehend why it’s acceptable and humorous for a female character to knee a male in the penalty box. Is this not unacceptable violence? Is it when a man is on the receiving end it’s comical? I’m confused? I’m female btw.
