My sister and I watched the hindi version at a Theater in VA. It was SO worth it, instead of watching this on OTT platform. But, I am glad it's also available on OTT for people who cannot go to Theaters. Thailavi is a kind of movie that is supreme at ALL levels - Direction, Acting, Screen play, music, supporting actors, story, dialogues, choreography, cinematograph.. Practically everything that a film requires to call a master piece. From the length of the role and acting prowess standpoint, no one can beat the way Kangana Ranaut (Jaya), Arvind Swamy (MGR) and Raj Arjun (Verrapan) have acted. The main characters were very well supported by all the supporting actors Naseer (Karunanidhi), Madhavan. The low-class Bullywood and their paid PR campaign may continue to malign the credibility of a movie like Thalaivi, but people who appreciate a very well written, directed, screen-played, acted movie like Thaliavi will forever be happy for this team to deliver a project like this to the cinema lovers.
