One of my most relatable and honest books I’ve ever read. Being an Asian American teen, I never felt so understood. David Yoon’s first novel carefully depicts what’s its like to an Asian American teen immigrant in the United States. From the parents to the racism to breaking boundaries, it’s a coming of age story with the perfect touch of romance and tension. Would definitely recommend this book.
