Games like this are going to ruin PSVR. After playing the first episode, I am not sure I'm going to continue with the next two.
The visuals are too dark and any background seen outside of a window is flat and like looking at a screen ingame, so much so that it's distracting.
While playing, your two gloved hands remain bent at unrealistic angles. They are always there in front of your eyes and the unnatural angles make it hard to manipulate items which is a big part of the experience.
The audio keeps glitching. Nothing else to say about that.
Most disappointing is the lightsaber controls are off just enough to make combat no fun. The angle I held my Move controller did not match the ingame hilt more or less the saber. It's off by 5+ degrees. I recalibrated everything and played THE other Saber game with no problem. I loaded Vader Immortal back up and had the same issues.
I am a huge Star Wars fan and tried to overlook the shortcomings of this experience. The problem is that most of what makes this an experience instead of a CGI movie is broken. So broken that I was completely distracted from the story.
I hope this all can be fixed with patches but I'm already soured on the whole deal and truly wish I had not made this purchase. I hope this review saves anyone the time, money and heartbreak this has caused me. For those who have already made the purchase, trust me I feel your pain.
