I have so much enjoyed reading Bascom's Trump because my husband was a sophomore at the time and it brought back so many memories of the era. I was disappointed, however, that the author didn't do his homework regarding the football games and the win/losses with which teams. 1969 was the year the Badgers were victorious over the three "I" states...Iowa, Indiana, and Illinois in that order. They were ALL played at Camp Randall (not Kinnick Stadium as the book indicates). If the author would have been more factual, it would have made the book so much more compelling.Had I not lived in Madison in 1969 I would not even be aware of this fact.
