The book is of philosophical value. Being Indian, and having read the Bhagavad Gita .. much of the concepts of the book was already known to me, but it surprised me how he wrote it from such a religion neutral point of view. The story takes one on a journey towards persuing one's destiny and is brilliantly described through the adventures of Santiago.

It was a really great show. I am in college now, but this show made me yearn for school again. I loved how they really worked on Indian culture while sketching the characters. I loved how Devi is portrayed as the chubby, brown, curly-haired girl with big eyes, which most of us Indians are. Best thing was it was all so real, and there was no such high-fi unrealistic high-school vibes. Overall a feel-good movie. Waiting for season 3!!

Quiet enjoyable. The actors really did a great job. Paired with the mystery solving, the show is constantly in motion and never boring.
However, the concept is not well-studied and has many loopholes.

The way war destroys life and lifestyle and also introduces new styles of living and the emotional as well as physical struggle is best portrayed in this movie .Quiet a long movie but worth the time.

The plot is awesome and quiet logical .However somehow the best thing for me was Nicol Kidman ....cuz she appeared to have so much physical similarities with Marilyn Monroe .Did anybody had the same feeling or it's just me ??
