After such a long time …I found a drama this good. It is Outstanding!!! The cast, the story , the lead Male & female characters acting, the costume…everything is perfect !!! Plus it is also slightly comic, so if you are depressed or sad and you and a fan of period + fantasy dramas….you should watch this. After Love like the galaxy, Ancient love poetry and novoland pearl eclipse… no drama met my standard. But Back from the Brink was splendid!!!

It’s perfect. Everything you can ever ask for!!! Yeah, it has a superb story & its characters also did justice with their role, especially Su min. Its twist and turns keep hooked throughout the series. The best thing about it is, the dynamic between the ML and FL isn’t clingy like other dramas. The male lead is supportive to FL as a true lover should be & the FL is also a badass and strong character on its own . She isn’t dependent on the ML solely. She has her own wit & style.

It's too good. Xia Lin's husband is truly enviable.

Wu lei and Dilraba Dilmurat are my favourite. So I had great expectations from it . Their roles are great but the only thing which dissapointed me was ...the story is too slow but it's good . Second, their should have been more romantic scenes between Male and Female leads . Here you will have to wait till ep 40 so that the ML and FL can get a romantic scene but you will end up watching two parrots kissing 🙂.

Perfect !!! Already many people had written a lot ...i will just say that I love historical, period, costume and fantasy dramas and watched many of them . Ancient love poetry was the best till date for me but now it's second . Love like the galaxy us the perfect drama and it has set higher expectations for dramas now. Watched Wu lei for the first time & he is Awesome, badass...his character is also the best . Zhao lusi is not new for me but I didn't liked her much but her role in this drama, her character and everything has made me call in love with her also. Best story and direction till date ... nothing unnecessary ... nothing random ....best !!!!

This drama is Amazing, Magnificent & what not . One of the best traditional costume dramas ... can't move on from it. It is perfect ...the direction, the story, the performance, the music everything . However the last episode was heartbreaking because after so much of struggle together...the main characters still not ended together . But it justifies it's theme as it states " Melancholy but Wonderful " . If you love Traditional costume & fantasy dramas like me ...you should definitely watch it . Apart from 'Ancient love poetry ' drama no other drama can match it perfection. Love it .

The story was great & so was the performance but some things were just horrible like the direction because many times the scenes were ended without climax at crucial stages which made the drama a mess . Like you will never get to know how Weishing Yan injured his legs ? & Sometimes you will not see the main characters for such a long time that you will forget about them . & The drama was stated a romantic one but how come the main characters hadn't given a romantic ending . The drama would have been so much better if some points were not neglected.

It's such a beautiful drama ❤️. Amazing direction, heart touching story so well played characters !!! The main lead Tang San was beautifully portrayed and was such a great character on the other hand the female lead Xiao Wu wow so beautiful and so accurate to its character and also not to forget her beauty is one of a kind. It feels like the character was made just for her. Other characters like master, lander, hu lena, and The other five devil's of Shi Lan Kan were amazing . Overall loved it 😊. However I have not read the original novel and not watched the animated series so so I have many questions. Eagerly waiting for season 2.
