Who ever wrote this was either told what to do or hasn't read the book (wrote by william himself) for instance william did not want do build the windmill for water (though it did cross his mind) he built it because it fascinated by it, the library had only three shelves, he (this is kind of sad) was forced by the boys at the club house to starve his dog because there was no food for the dog and it was slowly starving he buried it in a shallow grave with no marker, one of the most annoying and cringe things is when the boys at the club house went to get the bike frame from his father that was not true at all in fact he had many conversaitions with his father over the couse of three months and eventually persuaded his farther to give him the bike, they were not robbed at all (exept when they finally grew crops at the end of the famine), he built the wind mill after the famine like 6-7 months after the famine, he never got a puppy, no one but him and his close friend Gilbert at times built the wind mill, Gilbert had a startling amount of screen time in the book he brought two or three items for the wind mill and no one ever helped him in the scrap yard at all. all in all heavily influenced by the west and dramatised by Hollywood. That was naming only some of the bigger things that were wrong. All in all a terrible film
