Good action movie, plot moves quickly, a few good laughs. Not for young kids at all (good reasons it's pg13). Way too much "s- it" crude language, bare-butt bikini scenes, violent fights, dark scenes with scary ugly creatures. Finally leaves a message at end, but didn't give us a holiday mood.

Not a comedy at all. Heavy subjects, serious characters. Continual sadness, lots of fear and anger. Unfunny revengful characters, and nauseating gluttony with no comedic value. Took 3 kids,siblings ages 9, 12, and 15. I counted light-giggles four times. They did understand it was a happy ending to the story.

Saving grace of the movie: many lovely scenery shots, very cool contemporary architecture, the home's state-of-the-art technology and furnishings. A world class art collection is both shown and discussed, enjoyable for me. Foul language doesn't stop but suits the characters I suppose. Scenes jump around a lot at beginning. Plots get better and easier to follow as movie progresses. Not for children at all.

Includes insight of main characters, but main focus is on their objectives. Action, cerebral, suspensful. Some explanation of conflict of countries involved, research it if not familiar. And to know the Middle East geography is helpful before viewing. Presented as true story of real people. Movie includes Military technology, bombs, gunfire (not too bloody), f-word but not continually. Dialogue was easy to follow, has occasional subtitles. Surprised that I totally enjoyed this movie. I always enjoy Gerard Butler and he was great in this one!

No comedy in this movie plot. A few kid chuckles in beginning with flood and dog. No laughs for us the rest of the movie. Just serious dialogue, violence. The leaking water pipe scenes at beginning were visually very good. Took boys 8 and 11 year old, one asked why the gorilla/bad guy was trying to marry a human girl. Other said it didn't seem much like the video games to him. And he thought it was suppose to be funny.

Host Joey Fatone uses improper grammer when speaking with contestants, ironic for a common knowledge game. Example, he said: "One of you are going to..." Correct, "One of you is..." On Mr.Fatone's tv game show Family Fued, it's so sad the show lowered standards to use only disgusting, rude, and adult sexual questions, totally inapproprite for "family" entertainment. And Steve Harvey's reactions can be on R to X-rated. Then the nerve to do a promo ad stating families should watch Family Fued together. What parent wants their children to see and hear such trash.
