Cheap rip-off of Game of thrones, mixed with Utopian and distorted history of Mughals, trying very hard to sell it common people, but failing very miserably

Some people are giving it negative reviews not because of poor acting, direction or story or anything related to show, but because their political ideology does't concur with this show. Andhbhakti is at its peak. They can't even tolerate the other's perspective of storytelling. So, if you are open minded, open to recieve the alternative ideas and perspectives, just binge watch it without any delay. You won't regret this weekend. For me: It is 10/10 ★★★★★★★★★★

This show has hooks and they go deep in.!! This show is somewhat similar to other Fantasy noirs like GoT, in the sense that has its own set of magical creatures, factions, Politics, war and so forth. Moreover, its world has some of its unique social issues like Racial discrimination by men against other creatures(Fae) as they are not allowed to socially intermingle among upper class of human society. Patriarchy(women not allowed to study in universities or go outside) among other things. However, Carnival Row, unlike GoT is not based on books. Rather, it is an original content. Therefore, a lot of subjects, places, characters, objects are mentioned casually in a passing manner and audience is expected to catchup with them as the show progresses. I am halfway through the 1st season, however, this show still owes a lot of explanation to the audience. I am expecting that, this show might reveal more of its background in coming season(if it gets renewed). As of yet, storywriting is up to the mark. Also, show progresses at a decent pace. However, Orlando Bloom as an actor seems to be struggling to leave a mark, which is beyond my reasoning as he is a very talented one. Other than that, I am enjoying this show very much. For me, It is 9/10 ★★★★★★★★★☆

Corey(writers of the expanse novel series) and it was a fanboy moment when Sy-Fy decided to Make the series out of it. Well I will try to keep it Short. I will also try to keep spoilers at bay as far as possible. No warp drives, No inter-dimensional travel. The sci-fi space opera which comes as close to reality as it can get. It is basically an explanation of universal truth that mankind has always fought with each other for acquiring power and dominance over others. It is set in a few hundred years into future, when mankind has advanced enough so that they have colonised the whole solar system, with 3 main forces Earth, Mars and The Belt(People living in Asteroid belt and Moons of Jovians) are locked together in a Struggle for Power. However, this Power struggle took a serious turn as Humans encounter an ancient alien artifact, from billions of years ago,which was originally intended tor reach earth,but caught up in the gravity of Saturn. As, humans discover its scientific potential as well as dangers of using Alien artifact, they are trying to outrun each other in a race that could ultimately put the future of humanity in peril. It is full of action, suspense, Mystery, Betrayal,Love, Loss, Hope, and every possible human emotion. For Me, it is 10/10 ★★★★★★★★★★

Just watched the pilot of Manisfest. Although it is too early to pass judgement on this series, but so far it looks promising. Acting is up to mark, though script lacks depth somewhat. So, pilot episode is not something that will sweep you off your feet. Still giving it a positive review as I hope series builds up interest with time

It got me hooked up with less than 10 minutes into the first episode. Brilliant Plot, excellent VFX and aptly paced story makes it one of the best sci-fi shows along with the likes of The expanse and Firefly. My Take- 8.5/10
