I am a Christian, but I am also keenly aware of the value of science and technology at this time in our history. Randomness is not something I think describes the changing universe, but mysteriously hidden throughout its complex processes a meaningful providential power is at work toward an intended end--even if farther out than can be completely comprehended or realized by mankind at this time. How the Universe Works has tapped into the elan vital of the cosmos like few others, and reveals to eyes that are not so fortunate to have seen what technology is discovering about the cosmos in which we live, move, and have our being. The theories that astronomers, astrophysicists and quantum physicists write and lecture about at this most intense time of their clearly maturing disciplines come alive for all to see on How the Universe Works. May it inspire future scientists and theorists . . . and from my own heartfelt thoughts, may God also be blessed.
