It is just awful. Seems like the writers and directors really want to make it the galaxy version of Game of Thrones. Sadly they failed to live up to their ambition. Or should we say they actually did it: it is just like GoT season 8. The end result is weird. Dialogues are hollow and pretentious. Twists are abrupt and illogical. And the story development is slow and purposeless: why sex happens every 10 minutes? Just because GoT did so? It now has basically nothing to do with the book except for the characters’ names. Please just name it something else if you really want to be so creative about the plot.
