Season Dionne

Solid show. Entertaining. Good acting.

I did not expect the musical aspect but the acting and storytelling was good. The music worked with the storytelling once I settled into it.

I would give seasons 1 and 2 five stars. However, season 3 missed the mark. I would give it 3 stars. The best directed episode was episode 6, "napkins," directed by Ayo. It was a well told story. Otherwise, the writing and directing was either over-the-top or boring. The season felt forced, uncreative and disjointed. I can appreciate the concept of digging through the keys players' pasts and exploring how each ended up in this moment together. However, the entirety of season 3 should have been condensed into the first 4-5 episodes with the last 5-6 episodes giving us something to be excited about watching. It is the first time I am not excited for the next season of The Bear.

Just watched at iPic and the movie is done very well and looks great. Go see it...young and old.

This show has so much potential, but it assumes (like so many basic shows) that the audience is stupid (perhaps most viewers are). The show writers are lazy! Lazy scripts ruin potentially decent shows. The concept is a 4-4.5, but the lazy writing, that doesn't add up, makes it very difficult to watch.
