Just watched segment on Green Book and discrimination in travel during the '40's, '50's, and '60's. Why not also report on the challenges and overt discrimination against the Irish, Italians, Germans, Polish, Asians, when they came to America? Prejudice against blacks is always the focus instead of including all groups, that have been discriminated against. In my opinion, constantly focusing only on one group is one of the causes we have so much misunderstanding of one another. It fosters division instead of possibly helping other groups, that have been discriminated against, understand one another. Maybe it would be great for blacks to know that the Irish were also sold into slavery by Britain and sent to the Caribbean. There is so much you could do to foster understanding between different groups, instead of adding fuel to the fire.
