I am a big Elton John fan. Seeing the previews, I was not drawn to this movie at all. The actor did not look or sound like Elton. After much hesitation, I rented Rocketman. I only watched maybe 30 mins of this movie and shut it off. It was very boring, LONG and drawn out, and was played out like a musical, not an actual movie or biography. My husband commented that this movie was “ Slow. “ He was the one wanting to rent it! The Actor does not sound, nor look like Elton at all. The whole thing was a failure, sad to say.
