I really wanted to enjoy this film, but the poor cinematography, acting, and writing made it very hard to get infested in the message the film was trying to give about infanticide. Not to mention, the film stole the elevator scene from The Eye and the apple biting scene from Oculus, which only made the experience feel cheaper. It’s a shame, because it’s not that the story isn’t interesting, it’s just very poorly executed.
