An absurd dramedy that you can’t stop watching. I started watching just for the locations, many scenes shot in Oyster Bay, NY where I live on weekends and Oheka Castle where I played golf some years ago. The show is shot beautifully with some of the best B roll and aerial footage of the actual Hamptons, Montauk and surrounding beaches that you will ever see. The casting works! The writing works too... very snappy contemporary pop cultural referenced one liners. The dialogue between Paulo Costanzo and Mark Feurerstein is fast paced, creative and funny! The episode story lines are like “Murder She Wrote” scripts that were re-written for Millennials. Benign, corny and enjoyable with minimal PC preaching or network driven agenda. Maybe that’s why this show surprisingly ran for eight seasons!
