This movie is definitely worth a watch as it was well-acted allowing the audience to develop a strong rapport with the main characters. Clearly, the pitch of this movie was to have Back to the Future meet Boyz in the Hood. Time travel movies are tricky though, and, you have to be in a go-with-the-flow mindset to enjoy them. That mindset is not necessarily consistent with one you develop when watching a movie that tackles real social issues like police brutality. Just something I noticed.
