As someone who has been a fan of both the Arrowverse and DC for a long time, I was very disappointed with the crossover. At the end of the episode where Green Arrow died, I was appalled by how they thought that it was a good idea to do that. It made it feel like he wasn’t important enough to make it to the end. He should of had a death like Iron man in Endgame (considering the fact that he is basically the Tony Stark of the Arrowverse, since the Iron Man movie started the MCU, and Arrow started the Arrowverse). Not to mention the Monitor seeing a different death was so stupid. Shouldn’t that mean that they are screwed when he was supposed to die. What about Brandon Routh’s Superman in the end of the third episode. He is one of the Paragons, it was showed by Ray Palmer’s machine (ironically another Brandon Routh character), if they make Lex luthor be the actual Paragon then it makes no sense. Don’t even get me started on Bruce dying, he died for no reason except for making Batwoman see that she is a Paragon, which the monitor could have just told her. Also, how they solved the Flash problem, it was an idiotic move. When the 90’s Flash died i was actually surprised, mostly because they could of had an even better story if they had the regular Flash die instead, then they could deal with getting him back on the episode after the crisis is over, and last time I checked i dont remember having that be one of the possible futures that Barry saw. Maybe if this was a movie instead, then most of this would work, but since it’s not the whole thing has no suspense, there is no point in watching. But instead they wasted important parts of episodes by making Barry, Constantine (Who which i remember is a legend and sara said that she promised them that they wont have to do anymore crossovers, so why not bring them all?), Sara, and Mia waste an episode looking for a way to bring Oliver back. And I hated how they handled the characters that wont come back, like Oliver, 90’s flash, B.R. Superman, Smallville Superman, and Conroy Batman. Oliver should have stayed atleast til the end. 90’s flash should have lived the whole way through and get his own show again. B.R. Superman should have died at the end to finally finish his story, or he should have lived and gotten his own show too. And Conroy Batman should have lived and been a villain on Batwoman at some point. Smallville super man was only there for a quick cameo, even though he should have been there til the end to get back home to his family, or he could have gotten killed at the end, so he could have gave an impact on supergirl. And the characters that didn’t get barely any time should have had more time to atleast help. Black Lightning was there for only part of an episode, but made it seem like he was gonna be there til the end. Elongated man probably got the shortest end of the stick, even Iris, who by the way shouldn’t have even been there, had more time then him, and he is supposed to be the one to take over for the flash when he was supposed to be dead, he got to do nothing the whole crossover. Cisco got his powers back instantaneously when he got on the waverider, even though he got rid of them for actually a good reason, and now he has them back for one thing throughout the whole crossover so far. If the monitor can do that, then why cant he give everybody Superman’s powers. And so much more is wrong with the crossover.
