Listen, Invasion, see it’s for those people who are able to be mesmerized like the movie The Box and understand it’s complexities, without being insanely bored. Those that will hate it will be the Transformers and Marvel Studios lemmings who will scream ‘where are the aliens?’ ‘This is absurd, it’s all human drama and no ufo’s’. Those are the kind of people who are already lost; who walked out on The Arrival. This series is riveting, exploring so many facets of real people’s lives as strange phenomena occur in all parts of the globe. Ignore the idiot ‘professional’ movie or tv reviewers who wouldn’t know preferred stock from live stock. I hope it stays at this slow pace, because I am hooked. The acting is on point, the camera angles and cinematography is exceptional, the child actors are some of the best ever in a series; all very, very believable and astutely directed with fine precision! This kind of series is made for a certain demographic of viewers, and those that are capable of sitting still for 60 minutes and be humbled by such extraordinary human emotion and really, really fascinating small stories intertwined. A slow pull, that takes keeps you guessing and wanting to immediately watch each episode again; right away, multiple times!! How often does that happen? Really really good Apple! Keep this up!!!!!!!!

First - seeing Laurie Holden, Melissa McBride and Jeff Demunn who are best friends with Darabonte, long before Walking Dead, is brilliant. A director that brings talent along with him on multiple journeys, has got to be just a super fella to know and work with, and be friends with. Demunn on this, Walking Dead, and of course Shawshank. Jeff is a power house, and has been in films since before I was born. Second - Marcia Gay Harden... enough said. Third - Andre Baugher and Toby Jones. I mean truly, you cant much better raw, pinnacle acting than these two. It has been said ad nauseam about the ending; yet truly only a handful of times have I sat next to the TV with my hand on my mouth in awe, and that being at the end. Maybe Boy in the Striped Pajamas, probably the final scene of Empire of the Sun...it's that true 'gasp' moment, that very few directors (Tobe, clearly M.Night, Spielberg, A.Holland), few movies, in fact few moments ever in cinema can capture. This is one of them; its very, very well done. Despite the odd feeling that this was shot on a Hi-8 camera, it has a sort of found footage feel to it. I know it isn't but, I have to say its one of the very rare films, that you wish you had made. I absolutely loved it. Not a 5, as well that's for rare gems like Sound of Music lol.

Ed Norton is genius. But the pseudo-intellectual stimuli is made for the art house, film fest lemmings who will salivate and ask for more. Solid acting all around, but pedestrian and infantile script…boring Best picture? Lmfaooo the same Academy who’s never nominated Harrison ford for anything, has never even given a decent nod to the mind boggling life work of one Ed Norton and completely ignores a work of genuine brilliance as 13 year old Christian Bale in Empire of the Sun… and this wins best picture … wait one moment … LMFAOOO. The academy is a giant joke and all their voting members need enemas…much less the town….
