Not terrible, necessarily, but spends too much time undoing ‘The Last Jedi’ instead of moving forward. Feels like fan-fiction and wish fulfillment along the lines of ‘Attack of the Clones’ only considerably worse. The opening moments were fun and the core cast do their parts well enough.

I guess people of today don’t appreciate good writing and instead want adrenaline rushes and fan service. This movie is difficult to swallow and intentionally so. It so much more powerful for it.
