(Minor spoilers) I truly think people's judgment of this movie might be clouded heavily by nostalgia and nothing will truly match what the older movies did, simply because nostalgia has a funny way of being impossible to replicate or surpass. The older movies were nowhere close to perfect and had their fair share of issues, but they are so high up on a pedestal that it is blasphemous to say otherwise. New movies can be just as good as the old ones, guys. Having gone on a binge and watched most of the Alien movies recently, I gotta say this one is pretty fucking good. There is a lot of nostalgic set pieces and they attempt to match the ambience of the old movies and they do a fantastic job. The acting is great, the action is great, but the ending leaves a bit to be desired. It just felt like there wasn't a whole lot of payoff for all the struggling that was endured. Also, there are a few corny moments that probably could have been done without (Andy on the elevator for example). Otherwise, this movie was a fantastic addition to the franchise.

Look, this was an extremely popular murder case that captivated the U.S. for quite some time. Just like any infamous criminal case there is going to be a LOT of subjective point of views, disagreements and different versions of the true story. I'm not 100% privy on everything that happened and I am not going to write a review simply because I disagree with what my perception of the truth is. People that take points off a show because it doesn't match their opinion on what actually happened drive me insane. I'm here for a good show, not 100% accuracy. I'd watch a documentary or live footage for that. I'm writing a review based on my thoughts on the show itself. It's phenomenal. I thought it was going to be as dark, gritty and depressing as Dahmer was but the undertones are a bit lighter with slight comedic elements here and there. Dahmer was also fantastic but I expected this show to be just as emotionally devastating. I had to take breaks from Dahmer because of how emotionally draining it was. Granted, it was an entirely different type of crime so it makes sense that it was bleak. I just figured because this show is the same people that made Dahmer it would be just as bleak, but not quite. This show has fantastic pacing, the characters are interesting and the acting really sells it. Now, bringing factuality of the events into the equation, yeah the show takes its' own artistic interpretations on what might have happened. Things like what happened in prison, what the therapist talked about one on one before the recordings, what the brothers did when nobody was looking and what types of conversations they had. Obviously these are just things we can't know and the director does what they can to make the show interesting, and they do a great job at it. Personally I thought it was great. They didn't romanticize the suspects or their crimes and they added their own artistic touches to keep people engaged. Whether the Menendez brothers are really guilty or not, I don't really care. I just wanted to watch a good Crime thriller and that's exactly what I got.

As a Marine Veteran I have to laugh at the part where they find out what MCMAP is, as if this makes him Jason Bourne. We all get taught basic martial arts so it was sort of funny to see civilians Google it and go "Oh my God, one mind any weapon, keep your distance!" Otherwise everything else was really well-done. Fantastic movie. It's a slow burn but the action it does have is amazing and the acting is well-done.

Glad I didn't read the reviews because I thoroughly enjoyed this so far. It has everything The Boys has and the acting is really good. I think people just hyped The Boys so much that any spinoff would pale in comparison, much like the Star Wars OG trilogy and the new trilogies. The Boys had its' flaws (constant bickering between the crew that felt like filler mostly, the last season was kind of disappointing with how they used Soldier Boy), this show has a couple as well I'm sure. I just can't think of any currently. Definitely not a fan of weekly episodic releases. It's not 2005 anymore. I'll probably wait a month until most episodes are out to binge it all. I can only hope for a cameo of Homelander Edit sidenote yes there is some political social justice stuff such as conforming to gender-roles, mental disorders, racial equality and parental abuse. It's done in a nice way that doesn't feel forced and makes sense in my opinion. Some of the hate is definitely going to be bias towards any show that has inclusivity. Kind of how Netflix always forces a gay character or transgender simply to meet a quota. This show does that but in a delicate way that doesn't feel unnecessary to the plot.

It is a great movie and the action is fantastic. The build-up and hype during the races are the best parts of the movie and fortunately the majority of the movie as well. It has a very basic stereotypical underdog plot, but it's just there to drive the movie forward into the more interesting parts. It's a racing movie in its' core and it does that part extremely well. A sequel would be awesome, following a different character or fictitious one.

Sequel is still my favorite, idk why this is still a perfect threequel. A couple corny moments (rarely) that made me cringe, but otherwise the acting was SUPERB and the action was great as usual. Also there are two end credit scenes in case ur wondering Minor spoiler: If cute animals are your weakness you will cry. If you’re a vet and lost buddies (or anyone dealing with that) you’ll cry. Not sure why this affected me so much but boy it was painful at some points (like sad painful). Or maybe that’s just me being emotional lol

It is a very slow build-up so be prepared for that and it slowly builds into the action about 2/3 about the way, but my God is this a masterpiece or what?! The age shows slightly sometimes, mostly with actor dialogue being outtdated but there are MANY artistic scenes that look incredible in comparison to other movies to this day. The idea is realistic in still a fear we have to this day, so it doesn’t come off as cheesy or unrealistic at all. If you are on the hunt for legendary movies that impacted sci-fi cinema then this is a classic that deserves a watch. I’m high btw so I’m gonna rewatch this I’m so excited to see it in an elevated mood tbh
