I think this was a really great show. Their were some moments where I was like I wish this could’ve been a little intensified. Like for instance, when Li Chang Le was being haunted by Tuo Ba Jun’s deceased mom. I felt it should’ve been more moments of that instead of only one short scene. I also felt like she got off way too easy. I mean lying to the Emperor is one, then constantly framing someone, and killing the prince mom. SMH. They were about to cut poor Weiyoung’s head off for the killing of Tuo Ba Jun’s mom but near the end Li Chang Le finally confessed that it was indeed her and then all he did was give her some poison that she really didn’t have to drink. I mean he married her from lies, she humiliated Weiyoung constantly, she lied the whole time about the killing, she tortured him, and even tried to kill them both with poison and that’s all she got. That I think was the biggest disappointment. Another part that lacked was when Chi Yun Rou told her mom Lady Chi on her death bed that it was Weiyoung that caused all the trouble for them and their family and that she needs to promise to take revenge on Weiyoung, well I never seen where that actually happened in the series. But I will say overall, it was pretty good. I rate it a 8/10. The acting was great. The plot was good and the ending yet sad was still okay. I definitely think this show should definitely see a Part 2 just because well we see she had a son who can take over and they never showed what happened to Li Chang Ru’s child. Also, Chi Yun Rou mom’s Lady Chi presumably is still alive along with that Suicide chick that worked for Chi Yun Nan and now that Weiyoung is the Empress I can see some jealous minds trying to take revenge now that Tuo Ba Jun is dead. We also didn’t see if Li Men De and Tuo Ba Di getting married.
