Storyline - Lacked any meaningfulness, grit, joyfulness, or any reason to watch again. It had a tiny bit of suspense, which certainly wasn't fulfilled.
Overall, it was a waste of time and effort. Stay clear of this dullness.
It wasn't badly acted, wasn't much of a script to act in fairness.
The only likeable character was played by Ed Harris, yet his air time was very limited and added very little, if anything, to the plot.
Not one reason to feel sympathy or empathy for the main character.
A boring middle-class, middle aged woman what needs some parenting classes. Maybe a class in being a nicer human.
There were moments I thought that it could spring into life with some edgy scenes (hats off to Maggie Gyllenhaal) but It never did.
All I kept asking myself was "is she going to give the doll back yet"
I am guessing the doll was some metaphor for something but it just made me dislike her and highlighted how narcissistic she is.
