I could barely make it through the first episode. Usually I like period dramas and get blended in with the story and the characters. I don’t watch a lot of TV but enjoyed Downton, The Crown, Harlots. Outside of period dramas, I was a bit slow to see the Fall but really enjoyed it, now watching The Serpent which is very gripping. I never watch SciFi or slapstick. I’m not sure what genre this fits into but I was very unimpressed with the one episode which I endured. I felt like the main aim was to force feed a thinly disguised wokey-cokey political message to an unsuspecting audience on a slightly salacious platform and for that it got some great reviews. Going that far off script it should have been renamed as “Wokerton”. For me though, utterly disappointing.
