I haven't read the book. So I don't know about it but I should say, this movie is extraordinary. Never watched something this emotional before. The friendship of two pre-teens built a bridge connecting their hearts, and how they find themselves a place getting away from the real world. It's just a simple movie which cannot be forgotten.
