This movie was better than the first movie. I would most likely call this move a spiritual successor due to the fact that the location of the start was different and Kajal Aggarwal was not mentioned at least once in the movie. The seams to connect the two movies were not as clear as excepted, hence I'd call it a spiritual successor.
The music and background scores were marvellous and Yuvan Shankar Raja has set his name again after Pyaar Prema Kaadhal.
The screenplay and photography were spot-on and the mass scenes definitely had me smiling as a tribute for Dhanush, a.k.a Maari.
The comedy was great by Sai Pallavi, "Adithaangi" and Robo Shankar. This movie definitely had little amounts of slapstick comedy compared to the first
Overall, Balaji Mohan was fantastic for making another great movie like this.
