This movie moved very slowly, and we almost walked out. I could have fallen asleep. I wish I had checked out the reviews before we had gone. The original was good, but this was just....just terrible. It jumped from story line to story line and struggled to pull them together; you didn't get endings for some of the characters. It just wasn't very good, which is sad, because the cast is great.

If I had never seen the original, I think I would have enjoyed the remake a whole lot more. The original gave you the heebs without all the CGI and obvious scares. While the IT 1 and 2 were scary, and the acting was great, there were so many differences between the original and the remakes, it was disappointing because I am such a fan of the first one. I liked most of the extra scares, but I wish they would have kept closer to the original. Audra was no where to be seen, in fact, in the moment we did see her, she acted more like she hated Bill. Eddie's character wasn't really Eddie, and neither was Richie. I think they did a good job with the parts they did play, they just weren't the same as who they were originally. Then the whole ritual thing? Meh...There were pros and cons, but in the end I really wish they had just kept both 1 and 2 closer to the original. Too much was changed for me.
