This film had me crying within the first five minutes. I couldn't have been happier with it had I casted it and written the musical score myself. My sister was in the stage musical for Mary Poppins, which is a dear memory for me and the reason I decided to join theatre myself. I found this movie paid homage to the Broadway version of Mary (which is more accurate to the books) and at the same time paid tribute to Julie Andrews' version in a practically perfect way. Anyone who dearly loves this story should see this film. You won't be disappointed.
