The difference in reviews and stars from Google and Rotten Tomatoes is mind boggling and shows you Google has mostly bots that lie to you. (Extended exhale) Thanks to damn near literally every single show finale that has been put out in the last, idk, 8 years or so I have been completely desensitized to crap endings and massive let-downs. My reaction to the last season of Umbrella Academy is less of a "how could they?" and more of a "of course they did." The only thing good to come out of this show is seeing an amazing kid act like a believable old man and his lovable hippy brother. I'm so exhausted by it that I am not even going to bother with spoilers. If you decide to watch it, like with EVERY SINGLE THING THAT COMES OUT OF HOLLYWOOD today, expect it to be sh*t.

SPOILERS ** If i were giving this review before watching season 8 it would have been 5 stars... If not for my love of seasons 1-7, after the first episode of season 9, 1 star. And thats being generous. Ending Keen ( as much as I disliked her character) without revealing Reds identity to her was a horrible, horrible, horrible, have i said horrible yet? MISTAKE. That created a need for closure that the fans will never receive. And i think thats pretty sh%tty. To stick by a show and allow yourself an attachment to characters just to have writers/actors , whoever, not consider the fans in their decisions for the show is a slap in the face in my opinion. It seems that After ppl have made their money on a show and it has hit its peak as far as income it will generate then nobody in Hollywood cares about it anymore. . It leaves fans feeling betrayed and hurt. Shows get wildly popular because fans grow an attachment to the characters and the "world". Its THAT attachment that makes y'all those fat paychecks. How about you show a little tiny bit of care about how you treat that attachment after you've grown bored of it? After GOT's series finale i will NEVER watch another show on HBO again. I'm sure i am not alone in that sentiment. Hollywood better start thinking about that..... making your fans ( whithout who you would not get paid) feel this way is definitely NOT SUSTAINABLE. I hate that what was my all time favorite show is causing me to give this review. That being said, James Spader is ABSOLUTELY FANTASIC. i am completely in love with the man. Dont care if he is old enough to be my father, i totally crush on him. He is the only reason i still watch. * ( and i want to see if my theory on Reds identity is correct) 😉

This film should have had a "Grand Finale" fireworks excitment energy to it. Instead, I feel like I was handed a sparkler. The first 3 films I LOVED. There was alot to live up to and unfortunately this did not come close. Donny Yen talent was wasted. I kept waiting for the mega fight scene with Cain amd Wick..... good thing i wasn't holding my breath. No appearances by past characters (this would have been appropriate at the very end) and lastly, after all the abuse, shots, stabbings, etc that Wick has endured, what takes him out was rather pathetic. Have all the great writers been fired? Or is Hollywood pumping out let down after let down on purpose?? Honest question

**SPOILERS ** It wasn't as bad as I was dreading ( GameOT ptsd I think) but it is definitely obvious that too much story was forced into a small time frame. It was as if an entire season of a show was made into cliff notes. There were a ton of characters that were not even mentioned which gives it an unfinished feel. The manner and nonchalance in which Aldhelm dies did not seem fitting for such an important character. I also wish that , considering how they chose to end it, we could have seen more of the previous cast in Valhalla. But all in all, it could have been done worse...

After reading initial reviews I decided to wait for this to stream on Disney+. I am so happy I did! It would have been a waste of money in the theater. The film has the same cast, same director and the new characters are accomplished actors so the only ppl left to blame for this "film" are the writers ( and those who hired them). When a studio is more concerned with checking off boxes in the "inclusion " section of a contract instead of quality and talent this is what you end up with... Ragnarok is one of my top 3 favorite Marvel movies (other 2 being GOTG) I would NEVER believe this was made by the same person if I hadn't seen the credits with my own eyes. I truly, truly hope that James Gunn doesn't go the same route and learns from these mistakes. I watch anything new with pessimism expecting it to be woke trash and in that respect this film did not disappoint . It saddens me to think that these studio execs do not care enough about their audiences and fans to stand up against the shareholders that have their hands in everything, pushing this bs on us all. Please stop ruining everything. Seriously.
