This book truly get a bad reputation since it involves cancer-related topics, but let me tell you--(I've read this book 3 times so I think I'm qualified for this lol) This book is a rollercoaster of emotions. John Green has a very beautiful and unique way of writing and I love it to bits, this book in particular is actually a movie! But let me give you some advice, READ THE BOOK FIRST. You'll get a better understanding than thinking that it was cringey, becasue of how the cigarette metaphor was represented.

This is a must read!!!!! I read this book in 2 days! If you are looking for a apocalypse series to get sucked into, I highly reccomend this book heavily if you enjoy apocalypse series in general.
