Well written and flawlessly performed. Warning: most men will not like this film.

It is summarised in what the drunk man says" We still have animals running wild here.... two legged animals... they are all animals. I place it in the same genre as Angamali Dairies with less of a story line and more of snapshots. Metaphor of the Buffalo as the vehicle of Yama the lord of Death is a motif throughout the movie. Cinematography is exceptional with details such as the night scenes and shots of the Buffalo in the well with the lights as a helo around it's head. Music is strange and eerie so keeps up the tempo of the hunt. The image of returning to the forest and the base instinct is pictured perfectly. I personally did not like the human pyramid and the cave man scene in the end as I thought it was too obvious to be shown as a parallel. It took away the subtleties of the movie bY spoon feeding the audience. Otherwise well done!

I have been reading The Conqurer Series by Conn Iggelden. The 5 book series starts from Ghengis Khan's childhood to Kublai Khan's reign. This series is in keeping with the spirit of the book series. The terrain and battle scenes. The gers and the armours. The series is good eye candy.
