Absolutely love the show but hate the practice of canceling great shows at 5 or 6 seasons just because they make it to 5 or 6 seasons, while garbage shows get unlimited episodes.

Physics is absolute garbage, there's literally zero tutorial, just you and a big weird room. So I spend 10 minutes playing, pause it for a couple hours to charge my controller, and it decided to quit back to the title screen while I was gone and didn't save my progress. Why should I try again? I wanted my money back a month ago when I was able to purchase but not play this, and this is what I waited a whole ass month for? Even if you do get the hang of it, the boss ends up cheating because of the buggy physics.

Even though hulu says Season 1 is streaming, it's only Episode 1 that's streaming, and in that 1 episode, the premise of the show isn't even featured. The show's description says the guys lose their jobs and are given a UBI of $3000 per month, but outside the show's theme song, it's not mentioned by the end of the episode. By and large, as studies have shown, people who are given a universal basic income finally have (and take) the opportunity to improve their lives, doing things like paying down debt and moving towards home ownership. This show's first episode doesn't even establish the pair being awarded the UBI mentioned in the description, it just steers them right into a wall of stupidity. They are just two more of the lovable idiots with infinite resources to be used for hijinks and zero accountability you find in most adult animation.

This game is so all over the place. The last straw for me was running out of storage space with no way to upgrade it. I just stopped playing.

Apart from being in an aspect ratio that makes it only take up half of my tv screen even though it's literally produced by Netflix for home streaming on tv's, this is an awesome story with compelling characters, including one played by Michelle Yeoh, who of course steals the show.

It was was fun until the end ruined it for me.

Disappointed to see toxic masculinity and body shaming in the opening scene, but I guess that's all Disney knows. Framing Jaeger as the ultimate in masculinity and shaming Searcher for being built smaller and apparently having an interest in plants in the opening song, and then having Jaeger make a huge deal about it and basically abandon his family and village the very moment Searcher and some members of the expedition question his masculinity. But then in just a few short minutes, same sex interest between two young boys. I can't tell if they're trying to be woke or overtly traditional and it's only been 10 minutes. Personally, I don't think it has to be either. It really shouldn't try to be either, and it certainly shouldn't try to be both. There's so much more nuance in life. In the end, I'm a sucker for anything Alan Tudyk does, so it's not like I won't finish the movie. And yes I realize it's rated PG, but that's no excuse not to write realistic characters instead of always using caricatures of people. And since you can't review without also rating, 3 star I guess.

If you were going for cringe, you made it. At least make it seem like any of the characters who are supposed to be related have met each other before the episode began.

This movie tries to tell a powerful story, but it does it with characters that can't. Brendan is amazing as always.
